Savoring October.
It's something I've done for a long time. There is a gentle beauty only October holds.
What's a girl with three boys to do in October? We have a bucket list for that! The boys and I returned home from our vacation at the beach to find our mountains gently shifting towards Autumn. Our windows are open, cinnamon and orange peels are simmering on the stove, and this mama and her man tribe are embracing all things Autumn!
We even have a little collection of items from our outside time beginning to come together for crafts. The boys are super excited to begin checking things off our list.
I'll leave you with one of our favorite October recipes.
Pumpkin Pancakes
1c organic flour
2 pastured eggs
1T organic, cultured butter, melted
1/8t pink Himalayan salt
1t pumpkin spice
1T organic molasses
1/4c organic pumpkin
1T baking powder
Milk, enough to thin batter
Mix all ingredients well and fry in a pan like regular pancakes. We often enjoy ours with homemade turmeric cocoa.
Wholly Mom,
