So I kind of got overly excited about getting to blog for one of the most fabulous mom events I know of!Thing is, after posting this, I realized many of my friends don't know a thing about MommyCon. Well, don't worry, I've got the insider scoop. Sit down, and learn all about MommyCon in the privacy of your home. I promise not to tell anyone you heard it from me.
MommyCon is a conference specifically geared towards the modern mom. The working mom. The stay at home mom. The work from home mom. The natural mom. The savvy mom. The trendy mom. The hippie mom. There. All the moms. And some dads too.
They have various breakout sessions where experts (aka people like you and me) share about topics like cloth diapering, working as a mom, carseat safety, potty learning, baby led weaning, making baby food, entrepreneurship, and much more. There are vendors for just about anything mom/Baby related; many of which are small, women owned businesses. They host a Babywearing Cafe where you can try on virtually any type of carrier while a professional helps you assess fit. During sessions and throughout the event there are places for baby to play right where you are.
